2011 Subaru XV Concept at Shanghai Motor Show

Subaru has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder horizontally contrast DOHC engine combined with a Lineartronic (CVT) transmission under the hood of the Subaru XV concept. They did not announce all the technical details on the engine but the engine also used in the Forester, a total of 150 hp at 6,000 rpm and 146 lb-ft at 4200 rpm, so we expect a similar result for Subaru XV concept.

The new Subaru XV Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show. Subaru XV concept is built on a wheelbase of 2,635 mm and 4,450 mm length measurements, 1,800 mm wide and 1620 mm high. The concept presented in Shanghai is painted in a greenish yellow Electro exterior paint combined with a set of aluminum wheels painted in contrasting colors: silver spokes, black rims, clear and blue center caps. Subaru XV Concept is defined by a hexagon grid with the center painted the same color as the body, wings and ground lights Hawk-Eye. In the rear, the XV is defined by its design as compared hexagonal hexagons and engraving at the base under the blue number plate complete the design consistent. The last element of the exterior design is a kind of continuous glass roof that extends from the windshield to the rear.

Interior Subaru XV Concept continued with the same energy from exterior. The seats are covered with white leather and silver are combined with the use of mesh sports yellow-green pieces of piping inside. A dynamic contour runs from the front panel, through the door panels and center console, while the central panel has a large panel multi-information touch screen that provides easy control and navigation systems for audio.
