Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid edition of “Facebook” is on display at New York Auto Show. Porsche in order to celebrate the 1.5 million fans on their Facebook accounts have created a special edition Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid to thank the fans. Not the color that makes Porsche Hybrid is a special edition on the car body but there are 27,000 names of fans (fans) on Facebook contained therein. Unfortunately this car was made not for sale. Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid edition of “Facebook” has been exhibited at New York Auto Show (22 April-1 May 2011). After that the car was inserted into the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany.

The model which will just be an exhibit piece, will boast the company’s new Porsche Intelligent Performance program, making it ideal to be chosen to honor the company’s growing fan base on Facebook. The hybrid racer comes with a 4.0-liter flat-six engine that delivers 480 horsepower and is combined with two electric motors that each develops 69 kW and an electrical flywheel power generator located in the cockpit right next to the driver.

If you’re a fan, take a glimpse of this racecar, open every Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm with an 8 euros ($10.8) admission for adults with a free pass for children up to 14 years old if they are accompanied by an adult. Next up, Twitter? At just over 8000 followers, I suppose it will be a while.
