The new Nissan Leaf Nismo RC Concept is a 100 percent supercar zero emission advanced Lithium-ion battery design. The new Nissan Leaf Nismo RC Concept has been designed and built as a real race car, starting with its full carbon fiber monocoque. The body is composed of three-piece includes front and rear, fixed windows, headlights and LED taillights and the rear wing adjustable.

Building on the unique exterior style of production of Nissan Leaf, the racing version was created by 2-door Nissan Global Design Center in Japan. Special 4 layers of white paint with blue pearl Nismo / Zero Emissions graphics complete the exterior. Dimensionally the race car features a 3.9-inch shorter wheelbase is 0.8 inches longer and 6.7 inches wider. The most dramatic difference in height, with Nismo RC sits on more than one foot (13.8 inches) lower than the production of Nissan Leaf. Ground clearance is limited to 2.4 inches, 6.3 inches compared to road going cars. And at £ 2,068, the race car weighs 40 percent less than the production car.

The Nissan Leaf Nismo RC Concept is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which consists of 48 modules and a compact engine with high-response AC synchronous 80kW that generates 107 horsepower and 207 lb.-ft. of torque. It can be recharged to 80 percent of its full capacity in 30 minutes using fast charging port in the back cover. And unlike other competition vehicles has Nissan Leaf Nismo RC no tailpipe, no emissions of greenhouse gases CO2 and other while being driven, and no exhaust sound. The preliminary test of the Nissan Leaf Nismo RC produces an acceleration from 0 to 62 mph at 6.85 seconds and a top speed of 93 miles per hour. The layout of the Nissan Leaf Nismo RC Concept was clearly different from sedan production, which offers mid-ship position battery, electric motor and drive – the rear wheels compared to the production of front-wheel drive Nissan Leaf. Nissan Leaf Nismo RC also take advantage of the double wishbone suspension design front and rear, and driver adjustable brake balance. It rides on 18-inch wheels with 6 races and racing tires P225/40R18 Bridgestone.
